Alternative Semester Trip
Each Spring, Guardian Scholars had the opportunity to explore a part of the U.S. with other scholars by visiting one of its natural, educational, historical, or cultural attractions. The trip has all expenses paid and gives scholars the opportunity to visit somewhere they may have never visited. This is a first-come, first-serve opportunity as there are limited spots.Guardian Scholars that complete ALL of their requirements are given priority for the trip, so be sure to complete ALL of your requirements each semester!

In the Spring of 2019, we were able to get a behind-the-scenes tour at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

In the Spring of 2020, we had plans to take a riverboat cruise on the Sacramento River, explore Downtown Sacramento, go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Crocker Art Museum, and finish off with an Escape Room.

In the Spring of 2023 we went to Chicago, Illinous to attend a leadership convention and had so much fun exploring the city.

In Spring of 2024 the Guardian Scholars Program went to Manhattan, New York where we visited Columbia University, Statue of Liberty and watched a musical!
