GSP Learning Objectives

Incoming Guardian Scholars will be able to identify at least one university resource available to assist them in achieving their academic, professional, and/or personal goals at the end of their first semester at UC Merced.

Continuing Guardian Scholars will be able to demonstrate how one university resource on campus is able to assist them in achieving their academic, professional, and/or personal goals at the end of each academic year.

First Year Guardian Scholars will be able to describe their educational goals at the end of their first academic year at UC Merced.

Second year and first year transfer Guardian Scholars will be able to create at least one educational SMART goal each semester by mid-semester.

Third, fourth and continuing transfer Guardian Scholars will be able to demonstrate progress in their educational goal each year by the end of the academic year.
