The Student Support Team is in charge of the Guardian Scholars Program's outreach and student engagement. Our Student Support Navigators also contribute to the Guardian Scholars Program's operations. Given their experience in digital media, outreach, & event planning, our Student Support Team continues to provide the program with opportunities for scholars to connect with one another, build professional skills, & maintain active status within the program!
Student Support Navigators
Their role is to serve as the outreach for the program and are in charge of broadcasting events & news to advertise for the community and especially to our scholars! They serve as student coordinators along with our Academic Support Navigators to help assist with the operations of the program. Our Student Support Navigators are the spokespeople of the program, reaching out broadly and local to advocate for foster youth & more!
Scholar Engagement & Operations Lead
Their role is to lead the Student Support Navigators in their operations. While, students may continue to schedule meetings with this individual, this role focuses on the overall aspects of the program. They will ensure that scholars are engaged with the program and assist them with other needs the scholars may have in their journey here at UC Merced.
