Students First Center

• The Students First Center is your one-stop-shop for all your needs. Whether you have general questions or a specific issue, they can help to point you in the right direction.

Bright Success Center

• The Calvin E. Bright Success Center provides academic advising and support services to empower student academic and personal success. Guardian Scholars and the following programs are located within the BSC:
  • Degree Attainment for Returning and Transfer Scholars (DARTS)
  • Fiat Lux Scholars Program
  • Undocumented Students and Special Populations
  • Peer Assisted Learning Support (PALS)
  • Success Mentor Program (SMP)
  • Undeclared Advising

Information Technology (IT)

• The Information Technology Department of UC Merced seeks to create a sense of satisfaction and self-empowerment to our clients to encourage innovative use of technology in education, business, and research.

Counseling and Psychological Services

• The mission of UC Merced Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is to support the mental health and well-being of our students. It is the intention of all CAPS staff to provide a safe, confidential atmosphere of acceptance and accessibility to professionals in the field of psychology. Services specialize in the unique needs of UC Merced students to promote their academic, personal and social development.

Center for Career and Professional Advancement

• Career development is a life-long process of exploration and decision-making. We, at the Center for Career & Professional Advancement (CCPA) at the University of California, Merced empower students and alumni to reach their full potential by offering services in career development, experiential education, employment and graduate school.

Student Health Services

• The mission of the Health Services is to help each student strive for maximum physical and emotional health while pursuing their academic and personal goals at the University. Health Services is committed to providing the highest quality primary health care, in combination with health education and wellness promotion through caring, accessible and affordable services.

Disability Services

• Disability Services (DS) promotes equal educational access and full participation by and for students with disabilities in the rich academic and campus life environment at UC Merced.

Police Services

• The Department of Public Safety serves the UC Merced community and associated university property 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Department is a full-service agency.

Office of the Registrar

• The Office of the University Registrar supports the mission of the University of California, Merced, by serving as the primary office of academic records. To that end, they oversee various processes and programs including initial student registration through verification of degree conferral, veteran services and classroom scheduling.

Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS)

• Transportation and Parking Services is committed to providing safe and reliable parking and transit services for all students, faculty, staff and visitors.

University Housing

• The mission of Housing and Residence Life at the University of California, Merced, is to provide clean, safe, student-centered residential communities.
